An introduction to palaeography (medieval and early-modern palaeography)

As the “Virtual Manuscript Library of Switzerland” e-codices offers free online access to medieval and early modern manuscripts from public and church-owned collections as well as from numerous private collections. At the moment, the virtual library contains 1290 manuscripts from 54 different collections. The virtual library will be continuosly updated and extended.

Manuscriptorium is a freely accessible digital library which enables ready access to concentrated information on historical resources via sophisticated search tools.
